“So, are you folks lookers or runners?” Lido (Garth Petal) asks some newcomers early in Miles Pawski’s “The Edge of the World.” He’s referring to why they alighted on a rather unappealing Oregon campground: as vacationers, or as fugitives at a waypoint? Everyone’s running from something in Virago Theatre Company’s production; the scariest part, though, isn’t the pursuers but how easy it is to create a lawless, impoverished no-man’s land in the richest country in the world.
